California Privacy Rights

Effective date: January 1, 2026  ·  Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA

For California Residents: This page describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These rights apply to California residents only.

Personal Information We Collect

Because MySR22Insurance.com operates on a phone-call-only basis with no web forms, we collect very limited personal information from California residents:

We do not collect: Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any sensitive personal information through this website.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information solely to connect you with licensed insurance agents for SR22 filing, to measure website performance, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited information with licensed insurance carriers solely to fulfill your SR22 request — this is a service provider relationship, not a sale.

Your California Privacy Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of your California privacy rights, call us at (833) 620-2933. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by the CCPA. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Google Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to collect anonymized website usage data. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

California SR22 Note

California uses the SR22 and SR1P certificate types. California does not charge a state SR22 filing fee. The California DMV manages SR22 requirements independently from any court order — both may apply simultaneously. See our California SR22 Insurance page for details.

Contact & Updates

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, call (833) 620-2933. This page may be updated to reflect changes in law or our practices. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.

MySR22Insurance.com is not affiliated with any DMV, court, or government agency. Insurance availability and rates vary by state, carrier, and driver profile. SR-22 filing availability depends on carrier and state requirements. Submitting information does not bind coverage. Speak with a licensed insurance professional for policy details.
